abstract figures spaces and lights influenced these two pieces as I was in transition from NY back to the south- my birthplace. The wood cut image, untitled, (1) was done with a laser cutter based from untitled, (a) during a residency with the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Deer Isle, Maine.
